If you are buying a gemstone that represents a significant purchase for you as an individual, ask for third-party certification of the gemstone. The fee of these certifications would vary depending on the laboratory & the testing category (with or without Origin Detection). Selecting the right balance between, the gemstone's market value & certification fee is an important criterion while choosing the perfect certification authority for a gemstone.

Natural Diamonds & Jewelry
Solitaire Diamonds over 30 cents offered by us are graded by GIA - the world's foremost authority in Diamonds certification. In the 1940's, GIA established the "4C's" & the International Diamond Grading System - to this day, the worldwide standard for evaluating diamond quality. The unique report number laser inscription technique offered by GIA assists a customer in matching & verifying the authenticity of Diamonds with the lab report.
We also offer certifications from other recognized laboratories, such as HRD (Antwerp) & IGI - International Gemological Institute (Worldwide), who also grades & certifies diamonds using International Diamond Grading System by GIA.
Diamond jewelry certification is more complex, as accurately determining the exact grades of diamonds set in jewelry can be challenging. Laboratories such as GIA, IGI, IIGJ, and GII often issue jewelry certifications with diamond grades expressed as a range, such as E–F color.

IIGJ • Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery 🇮🇳
IIGJ Research & Laboratories, formerly known as The Gem Testing Laboratory (Jaipur) is a pioneer in gemstone certification and the most reputed laboratory in India. Established in 1972, it is the project of the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (Ministry of Finance, Govt of India). At IIGJ RLC Jaipur, strict guidelines are followed to ensure the authenticity of gemstones and possible treatments in the most scientific and reproducible manner through a combination of state-of-art analytical techniques and extensive practical skills in interpreting gemological data. This not only provides proper disclosure of the stone but also ensures public trust in gems and jewelry by preserving the highest standards of integrity, knowledge, and expertise.

GII • Gemological Institute of India 🇮🇳
GII (Mumbai) is the first Gem Testing Laboratory of India. It is a project of the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (Ministry of Finance, Govt of India). It is also the first Research & Development Laboratory in the field of gemstones in India recognized by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India as SIRO. It is National Research Center for Gemstones and Diamonds.

GIA • Gemological Institute of America 🇺🇸

GIC • Gemmological Institute of Colombo 🇱🇰
Established in 2oo5, it is the only gem testing & certification laboratory in Sri Lanka that provides gem identification and certification services, using highly reliable computer aided gem analytical equipments keeping in par with the current international gem certification standards & procedures.

C. DANAT • Bahrain Institute for Pearls & Gemstones 🇧🇭
The Pearl & Gemstone Testing Laboratory of Bahrain (established in 1990) was the first Laboratory of its kind to be set up in the Middle East, developing a positive reputation within the Middle East and beyond. In 2017, at the instigation of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) was formed as a wholly owned entity of Mumtalakat (Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund) to take over, enhance and expand upon the excellent work of the Pearl & Gemstone Testing Laboratory of Bahrain.
